This leading business in academic and business services has been established for almost 50 years and has continued to develop their product to keep in line with a changing environment. One of the key developments has been to increase their online services proposition and this new role for a Digital Manager will be critical in ensuring the continued growth and success of this channel for the business.
Reporting to the Head of Digital you will be responsible for generating increased traffic to the site and for optimising the site design and usability for the benefit of the customer and to increase it as a revenue generating channel. As the main point for SEO you will work with a range of global SEO agencies and will work internally with IT and content teams to ensure optimisation of all data and information on the site. Key to this role is the analysis of traffic channels and of site performance for which you will use WebTrends as well as Google Analytics. You will report on traffic, ratios, user journeys and conversion rates and make business recommendations for improvements that will impact positively visits, user–experience and conversions.
To be considered for this role you must be an experienced digital marketing with strengths in web analysis and have managed SEO campaigns. Your CV should demonstrate your online analysis experience and detail any software packages used for running web analysis.
This job is commutable of Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate locations.
