This leading business in academic and business services has been established for almost 50 years and has continued to develop their product to keep in line with a changing environment. One of the key developments has been to increase their online services proposition and this new role for a Digital Community Manager is crucial in maintaining a strong relationship with customers through all channels.
Reporting to the Head of Digital you will engage and connect with stakeholder communities in the digital environment, acting as the voice of the company externally and the voice of the customers internally. You will lead the social media strategy across all necessary channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and others. Actively participating in discussion and encouraging two–way communication you‘ll be regularly contributing to blogs and forums in the industry. This will generate an understanding of what the customers want and you will be able to feed this back to the business to guide strategy in digital and wider channels.
To be considered for this role you must be an experienced social media professional managing communities and blogs as well as company Facebook and Twitter accounts. You‘ll need to be an excellent content writer with a full awareness and understanding of optimising content for websites and generating traffic through community engagement.
This job is commutable of Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate locations.
