This is a great opportunity to join a successful and fast growing own label FMCG manufacturer. Having achieved substantial and consistent growth recently they are looking to bring an experienced Category Manager to join them to manage their major grocery account. You will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth through strategic category insight and consumer understanding. You will develop category plans and range reviews as well as be involved in the promotions, tracking and analysis. Working closely with the Commercial Manager you will also (in conjunction with your customer) be responsible for a substantial marketing budget with the task of driving further growth in the category.
To apply for this role it is essential you have extensive experience in category management and have a sales or marketing background within an FMCG environment. Being able to analysis and interpret data is crucial. You must have sound knowledge of using EPOS and data sources such as AC Nielsen, TNS. You also need to have strong presentation and communication skills and be a resilient individual used to working in a strong FMCG trading environment.
