Client Relationship Manager

Salary:£30000 - £44000 per annum

Location:Manchester

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Client Relationship Manager to join a Global Legal firm based in Manchester

Job Description

The successful Client Relationship Manager will be asked to carry out the following duties:

• Developing tailored solutions in response to client needs and in line with the investment profile of the client , with responsibility for interpreting solutions in response to client needs and resourcing/making these happen from within the business

• To be the driver for maintaining and growing the relationship alongside the CRP and wider client service team

• Help develop the firm's client development methodology as the programme expands into new areas of the firm

• Lead the strategy for the clients within relevant sectors/practice areas, and working collaboratively with Senior Business Development Managers and other Client Managers to ensure alignment of client programmes across the firm, ensuring that BD activity is driven by client need

• Co-ordination and production of regular relationship review communications (bespoke to the needs of the client), in particular management information, quarterly relationship review documents, annual highlights, etc.

• Support the development of appropriate marketing materials and activities to fulfil client plans – whether brochures, web pages, newsletters, reports, web-pages, seminars, conferences etc.

The ideal Client Relationship Manager will have the following experience in:

• Strong networking/relationship building skills, to ensure you can build networks effectively both internally and externally

• Leading sector-focused client relationship and marketing activities

• Developing and implementing business plans

• Management of marketing materials and activities to support the client's agenda

• Marketing communications experience with extensive copy writing skills and a good understanding of branding and design and the production of promotional materials with experience of working closely with a design team

• Building stakeholder relationships to gain trust, challenge and influence decisions when needed and to drive a proactive approach

• Ability to deliver in a fast paced environment.

• Strong IT skills with experience of CRM systems (preferably InterAction), Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities within tight timescales

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Set a positive role model for junior members of the team
