PR Moment Awards 2015

Categories: Networking ,

Last night we were delighted to attend the annual North, Northern Ireland & Scotland PR Moment Awards at the swish Hilton Deansgate Hotel. Network Marketing were represented by our PR specialists David Walsh and Laura Mallinson and from the stories it sounds like a great and late night! The evening kicked off with a drinks reception, followed by a lovely 3 course meal. A big thanks to all the staff at the Hilton, top grub & Service all round! This was followed by a slick & well organised awards ceremony by Don’t Panic Events and it was great idea to hold a pop quiz in between awards to keep the partisan crowd engaged! More about that later… The awards were presented by serial awards host, Andy Crane and the one & only, voice of the lottery balls & Strictly Come Dancing, Alan Dedicoat. The awards flew by and were a great success. It would be long & wrong of us to single out any winners and I think that everyone who attended the awards deserves a massive commendation. All of this was followed by the piece de resistance of the evening and an absolutely must at all awards, the one & only Manchester Legend – DJ Clint Boon!! He took the stage and got everyone out of their seats, busting some shapes to some floor filling classics till the early hours! We certainly enjoyed dancing and are feeling it today! We had a fantastic evening with great company on our table including, Ellie Smith & Gabriella Smith from Acceleris Marketing Communications in Harrogate, Lucy Oates & Dan Gledhill from RMS PR in Manchester and Peter Burling & Natalie Cox from Brazen PR in Manchester. We were on Table 11 and wait for it…..YES we were winners of the Pop Quiz!! A lot of the credit must go to Natalie from Brazen who is obviously a pop superstar and knew everything, full marks!!

All in all a great way to celebrate some truly wonderful PR work that is happening in the North and we cannot wait till next year to do it all again! The list of all winners can be found here

David is without doubt the digital and PR guru in Manchester. As a true Mancunian he has a genuine affinity with the northwest market and his previous experience in marketing and publicity means he knows exactly what he's talking about. Having hung up his rugby boots (maybe temporarily) he balances his social endeavors with a tough regime dictated by his personal trainer.
