Friday Lunch in Leeds

Great food plays a big part in our lives here at Network Marketing Towers. We all look forward to lunches, especially to Fridays, the start of the weekend and a chance for all of us to splash out and often try somewhere new. Now, we're not saying we are always looking for gourmet food - sometimes a Nandos or KFC will do fine but we do try to look for new places too. Today saw us visit a range of places including Jack-pots on Wellington Street. As the name would suggest Jack-pots do jacket potatoes - a limited menu you might think...don't be fooled. Jack-pots actually do a very nice range of salads, pastas and of course jacket potatoes. The potatoes are perfectly cooked and generous in size. We went for the daily special smoked salmon and cream cheese served with a salad. It was the perfect portion and we ate outside in the sunshine - spot on. The salad was all extremely good quality but really the portion size was far too small for the price. There seemed to be a random pricing policy and really they could do with being clearer about how they price up items rather than just apparently guessing. So, overall a positive experience and we would go back but would urge them to be more generous with their salads! Jack-pots get a thumbs up.
