So when we spotted the campaign by Ikea in Australia to recruit new staff for a new store we thought you'd love to see it. It's not the much over-hyped social-media IKEA are using here but the most direct form of direct mail! http://youtu.be/qwmXRAGDHeo The key here is less about the lack of media spend but more about the highly specific targeting and innovative way they added the 'instructions' in to the packaging for their products. Now we accept that this approach to recruitment isn't going to work for everyone but well done to Ikea for genuinely thinking outside the box (excuse the pun).
