Network Marketing and The Book visit “The Wall”

Date: 24th March 2011 Where: The Wall, Leeds Objective: Team Building Last month the Network Marketing team took a well deserved break from the office and headed over to The Wall in Leeds for some light hearted team building...and a few swift drinks afterwards (also well deserved). For those of you not aware of ‘The Wall’ in Leeds, it is an indoor climbing facility and a really good one at that. Whether you want to learn how to climb, or are a seasoned climber and want to hone your technique (or if it is a typical rainy day in Leeds and you don’t want to climb outdoors), or like us, you fancy an afternoon of fun team building ...then this is the perfect location! It is also very good for your fitness - Yes I did say fitness. This is seriously hard work and your muscles will ache the next (and next) day if you have not done this before. Trust us! We are a pretty active bunch down here at Network Marketing HQ and there were more than a few sweaty brows being mopped by the end! There is lots to do at The Wall. There are walls and routes for both top and lead climbing, including a couple of self-belay ropes if you don't have a climbing partner. There are plenty of routes to choose from for everyone...whether you’re an experienced climber or not. We had a great time. We were split into groups and were well looked after by the guys and girls down there who were very helpful and encouraging the whole way through. From a business perspective it served as a good bit of team bonding and was a good time for us to go with all our new starters (see previous blogs.) So if you want to do some team building or give it a go on your own or with friends/partner then we can highly recommend it as an enjoyable afternoon out. To see how how high we got...stay tuned for the video!
