We heard on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show that 10th October 2012 was, among other things, World Homeless Day 2012.  As a supporter of Simon on the Streets we thought this was worth shouting about.  Homelessness is still a major issue in the UK and, without getting too political, is probably going to get worse if housing benefit for all under 25's is cut as per the Conservative manifesto. However, on a brighter note there are lots of great organisations like SOTS who support homeless and rootless people in our region and wherever possible, if you get the chance, think about how you can support these vulnerable people in society.
