Business Development Manager

Salary:£40000 - £53000 per annum


My client, a forward thinking Global Law Firm with a great reputation in the marketplace has a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their Manchester branch.

The ideal Business Development Manager will be asked to do the following:

• Development and agreement of business objectives and strategies for the Casualty and SHE Reg

• Development and implementation of UK business development and marketing campaigns, in line with Practice Group objectives and in consultation with wider groups

• Leadership of the agenda for these groups, their meetings and activities

• business development agendas reports, web-pages, seminars, conferences etc

• Contribution to the firm's Key Account Programme through providing support to Casualty Client

• Management of junior members of the team, ensuring each member of the group works to the highest standards and develops in their roles

• The formulation of relevant business development budgets and management of the budget to ensure

• PR strategies support business development plans and enhance campaigns

The successful Business Development candidate will have experience in the following:

• Previously led or worked on business development and marketing activities for the Casualty and SHE Regulatory Practices

• Educated to degree level (2:1 or above) or possesses equivalent experience

• Considerable experience of working as a Business Development practitioner at management level within a fastpaced professional services environment, preferably within the legal industry, including

• Marketing communications experience with extensive copy writing skills and a good understanding of branding

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
