Network Marketing were delighted to announce at the beginning of the rugby season their sponsorship of Wetherby RUFC Under 14’s. Little did we know back then that the sponsorship of a full set of new branded shirts would provide so many opportunities to promote the company. The Under 14’s team have had a very successful season having won the vast majority of the matches including getting to the semi-final of the Yorkshire Cup. The match report and photos of this were (almost) headline news in the Wetherby News which has a weekly paid circulation of over 2500.
Not only did we get local coverage but the brand was then on the sofa of BBC Breakfast on the morning of 25th January 2015 discussing an RFU initiative. Louis Hirst, son of our MD Jonathan proudly sported his new kit with the NM logo showing (relatively) prominently. Jonathan commented “I did ask Louis to sit up and smooth the logo out to get maximum benefit but with all of the excitement, cameras, make up and fuss we both forgot. Nevertheless, I have had many people commenting on our appearance and also the company sponsorship which has to be a good thing!”
With viewer numbers typically on a Sunday morning in excess of 1m across the UK and worldwide it seems the brand of Network Marketing is reaching new heights.
