When Celebrity Endorsement Goes Wrong…

You all know we’re fans of a juicy advertising campaign here at Network Marketing towers but what about when these go wrong? This week poor Martin Clunes has been dropped by Churchill Car Insurance after he was caught speeding in his own BMW…as you can imagine this news hasn’t been well received by Churchill and he has consequently been sacked.

When you've got the job as brand ambassador for a high profile company should you consciously modify your behaviour to suit the organisation you're representing (we presume it's written in to the contract!!) or just take the money and hope for the best... The Drum have written an excellent article about other expensive mistakes by celebrities. Let's hope the Dog doesn't have any similar faux pas...
